Parking is available behind the church building. If youâre a first-time visitor, feel free to use the visitor parking spots closest to the building. - What happens during a typical service?
Our worship services are centered on the Gospel, focused on Christ, and designed to glorify God. After a brief welcome, the pastor leads the congregation through a question and answer from a historic church confession, such as the Heidelberg Catechism. Following the catechism, we enter a time of corporate prayer, during which the pastor prays on behalf of the congregation while everyone joins silently in prayer. We then lift our voices in worship, singing a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary, God-centered songs. Worship continues through the giving of offerings, followed by the pastorâs sermon. The service concludes with a pastoral dismissal, and the entire gathering lasts approximately 75 minutes. - What is the reason for leading the congregation through the Heidelberg Catechism?
Leading the congregation through the Heidelberg Catechism helps reinforce important Biblical teachings in a structured and repetitive manner. Puritan pastors developed catechisms because they realized that despite faithfully preaching sermons, the doctrines from the Bible werenât âsticking.â By using the catechism, the congregation can regularly revisit and internalize key aspects of their faith, ensuring a deeper understanding and stronger foundation in Christian doctrine. - Can my kids stay with me in the main service?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome to stay with you in the main worship service. We also provide a nursery during the 10:30 service for infants and toddlers up to 2 years old. Additionally, Junior Church is available for children aged 3 to 6 years old.
BELIEFS & WORSHIP
The various elements of our church service are rooted in teachings from the Bible and the practices of the early apostles. The early church devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, the reading of Scripture, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). These foundational practices guide our worship today. We also give tithes and offerings as a form of worship, based on Bible verses such as Proverbs 3:9: "Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce."

- Why do you stand for the reading of Scripture?
Standing for the reading of Scripture is a sign of respect and reverence for God's Word. This practice has historical roots in the early church and Jewish tradition, where standing was a common posture of honor during the reading of sacred texts. - Why do you pass the offering plate?
Passing the offering plate allows the congregation to participate in worship through giving. It is a visible act of generosity and stewardship, teaching our children the importance of supporting the church and its ministries. Historically, the early church collected offerings to support the needs of the community and the ministry (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). - What is communion and why do you participate in it?
Communion, also known as the Lord's Supper, is a symbolic act that commemorates Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. The bread represents His body, and the juice represents His blood. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewal of our commitment to Christ. This practice dates back to the Last Supper, as described in the Gospels, and has been a central element of Christian worship since the early church (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). - Why do you sing hymns?
Singing hymns is a way to worship God through music. Hymns often contain rich theological truths and help us to express our faith and devotion. They connect us to the historical church and its traditions. The practice of singing hymns has been part of Christian worship since the early church, with examples found in the New Testament (Ephesians 5:19). - What version of the Bible do you use?
We use the New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95) We use the New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95) version. There are many excellent translations of the Bible, each with its own approach to translating the original texts. We prefer formal equivalence translations. This approach aims to translate the text word-for-word, staying as close as possible to the original language. Examples include NASB95, LSB (Legacy Standard Bible), ESV (English Standard Version), KJV (King James Version), and NKJV (New King James Version).

Qualifications for Baptism
To be baptized, it's important to understand and believe the gospel:
God is holy and just, and He created us to have a relationship with Him. However, we are all sinners and fall short of God's glory. Our sin separates us from God, but there's good news! Jesus Christ, God's Son, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for our sins. Through His death, Jesus made the perfect sacrifice that satisfied God's justice and demonstrated His incredible love for us. Salvation is a gift from God that we receive through faith in Jesus Christ. When we believe in Him, we are saved from God's wrath and brought into a right relationship with Him. This is the essence of the gospel: God's love and justice, our sin and need for salvation, and Jesus' sacrificial death that makes salvation possible.
Qualifications for Church Membership
Church membership requires that you have already been baptized and that you understand and profess belief in the gospel. This means acknowledging that God is holy and just, recognizing our own sinfulness, believing in Jesus Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection, and accepting salvation through faith in Him.
